Asset Management for Schools

Here are some specific ways the Hasmate program can be used for those in education, specifically primary, intermediate, and high schools.

Using Assets

Being able to prove that all equipment and machinery used in schools is regularly maintained is very important.

By adding each piece of equipment into the Asset module, you can use the Asset Maintenance section to note down when it has been checked, and any maintenance required.  You can also add in a review date for when it should next be checked.

You can also note down when vehicle registrations and WOFs have been completed, and when they are next due.

This module can be used to demonstrate that general PPE (not allocated to a particular employee) is being maintained/cleaned (using Asset Maintenance section), checked regularly for deterioration, etc.

This is also where you can add in all your school buildings, and demonstrate regular maintenance, note down when fire alarms were tested, etc.

Using the Review History can also be a great way to manage this.
