This section allows the user to note down all the codes of practice and guidelines that have been considered in the preparation of the JSA.
Codes of Practice and Guidelines Section
(Note – click the > beside the “Codes of Practice/Guidelines” heading, and you’ll see the information table).
This section is made up of the following fields:
- Codes of Practice/Guidelines – this is a new Master File.
By default, this Master File will have the following options set up – A Guide to Respiratory Protection, Approved Code of Practice for Excavation and Shafts, Best Practice for Scaffolding in New Zealand, Best Practice Guidelines for Working at Heights in New Zealand, Best Practice Guidelines for Working on Roofs, COP for Manual Lifting, Edge Protection, Fatigue in Construction, Guide for Safety with Underground Services, Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, Personal Protective Clothing and Equipment, Power Activated Elevated Work Platforms ACOP, Power Activated Handheld Fastening Tools, Provision of Facilities on Construction Sites, Regulation 26 of the Electrical (Safety) Regulations 2010, Roofers Using Chainsaws, Roof Inspections and Measurement, Safe Working with Ladders and Stepladders, Stepladder Safety, Working Safer and Smarter with Power Cut-off Saws, WorkSafe NZ Working at Heights, WorkSafe NZ Managing the Risk of Falls at Workplaces. To find out how to change any Master Files, click here.
To add in a code of practice, click “Add Code“. You’ll see the form below. Click the appropriate code, and click “Save“.
